Based on the top-selling Gatorskin racing tyre but offering even more puncture resistance, it's constructed with Continental's Duraskin® edge-to-edge protection. Plus, the hardshell casing extends all the way to the tyre's sidewall too. These layers are also combined with a PolyX Breaker that covers the tyre's entire tread for even better puncture resistance.

The high-quality polyamide fabric reliably protects the casing of the tyre and protects the tyre from the worst conditions. These tyres stand out with their brown sidewalls. The slick natural rubber tread is designed to perform well in wet/wintery conditions
• PolyX Breaker: Polyester has been used successfully for years in car tyres and been tried and tested many times. The extremely resistant polyester fibre is woven tightly, making a very high fabric density that makes the Breaker more resistant to foreign objects and more resistant to punctures. The rolling resistance is not affected either by the PolyX Breaker
• Hardshell: Puncture protection and mileage are the strengths of Hardshell protection. A wider PolyX Breaker®, the specialist against punctures under the tread centre and shoulders provides for great reliability. The threeply - each layer with 60 tpi - carcass covers the entire tyre and makes it a real bastion against urban debris. The outer sidewalls of the tyre are reinforced with DuraSkin® fabric providing even more reliability due to the casing being so well protected.
